  • Exclusion prevention requires consistent boundaries and trusted relationships. Our mentors specialise in working with challenging behaviours to reduce suspension and exclusion rates.

    • De-escalation: Introducing effective coping mechanisms and de-escalation strategies.

    • Positive Role Modelling: Helping young people make positive choices through trauma-informed practice.

    • Flexible Settings: We offer 1-2-1 and 2-2-1 support within isolated school settings, out in the community, or at our dedicated Learning Hub in Charfield.

  • Time out of the classroom shouldn't mean falling behind. We offer comprehensive academic support designed to complement your curriculum.

    • QTS-Led Instruction: Tuition delivered and overseen by educators holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) up to GCSE level.

    • AQA Unit Award Scheme: As an approved AQA UAS centre, we offer flexible, bite-sized accredited learning to build confidence and provide tangible evidence of progress for diverse learners.

  • We fill the gaps in a student’s knowledge to help them overcome specific barriers to learning, ensuring they can reintegrate into standard lessons more productively.

    • Literacy and Numeracy interventions.

    • Communication and Vocational skills development.

    • Therapeutic interventions, including sports, music, and Animal Therapy (featuring our resident therapy dog, Nelly).

  • Exclusive to MM Mentoring. We are proud to be the only Alternative Provision partner in the UK to offer ClassVR. For students who refuse to engage with standard learning materials, our immersive virtual reality headsets bring the curriculum to life. From exploring historical events to travelling the solar system, we use cutting-edge, curriculum-aligned technology to spark curiosity and re-engage reluctant learners in a safe, controlled environment.
